Read your EPF statement
with steady, clear eyes.
Stoneground runs small, unhurried workshops where Malaysian workers learn to read and understand their own EPF statements — at their own pace, without pressure.

A slower approach to a long question
Retirement preparation is not a weekend project. We design our sessions to fit the actual pace at which understanding develops.
Grounded in EPF's Own Materials
Every workshop uses publicly available EPF documentation and the official portal — nothing proprietary, nothing speculative.
Small Groups, Real Conversation
Sessions are kept small so questions can be heard and discussed. You are not watching a recording or scrolling through a slide deck alone.
No Advice, No Pressure
Facilitators explain what is on the page. They do not tell you what to do with it. That distinction matters, and we maintain it carefully.
Based in Johor Bahru
Stoneground is a local organisation. Sessions take place in Johor Bahru or nearby off-site venues, and facilitators understand the local context.
Your Statement Stays Yours
No copies of personal EPF statements are collected or retained by Stoneground at any point during or after a session.
A Structure You Can Return To
The quarterly series gives you a recurring point of contact with the material — four times a year, as your situation and understanding develop.
Getting started
When did you last read your EPF statement all the way through?
A single workshop afternoon is often enough to make the numbers readable. Reserve a seat and come with your questions.
Common Questions
Things people ask before they come
Do I need to bring my EPF statement to the workshop?
You are welcome to bring your own statement if you wish to follow along. It is not required. The workshop uses a demonstration on a projected screen, so you can see the full process without having your own documents in front of you.
Will the facilitators tell me what to do with my EPF savings?
No. The sessions are informational. Facilitators explain what the statement shows and how the EPF portal works. They do not give advice on contributions, withdrawals, investment choices, or how to use your balance. For regulated financial advice, you would need to speak with a licensed professional separately.
I am in my thirties. Is the EPF Statement Reading Workshop still relevant for me?
Yes. The workshop is described as suitable for Malaysian workers of any age. Understanding your statement early means you have more time to notice things, ask questions, and simply stay informed as your working life continues.
How many people attend each session?
Groups are kept small — this is deliberate. Smaller sessions allow for genuine questions and discussion rather than a passive presentation experience. The Annual Reading Retreat is explicitly limited to a small group.
What does the Quarterly Reading and Discussion Series cover across four sessions?
Each session is built around a single reading selected by the team — typically a chapter, article, or excerpt from publicly available retirement-related material. The readings change each quarter. An annual subscription covers all four sessions; the reading for each is sent to you before the session date.
Where does the Annual Reading Retreat take place?
The retreat is held at an off-site venue, announced to registered participants in advance. Meals are included in the session price. It is a full-day commitment, typically from morning to late afternoon, in a setting that allows for quiet reading and focused discussion.
Can I pay in instalments?
Please contact us directly to discuss payment arrangements. We are happy to talk through options, particularly for the annual subscription and the retreat.
